Your Prayers Not Answered

Your Prayers Not Answered
Your “prayers not answered” means your “expectations not fulfilled.” The TAO wisdom explains why: your attachments to careers, money, relationships, and success “make” but also “break” you by creating your flawed ego-self that demands your “expectations to be fulfilled.”

Anti-Depression Alignment and Becoming

Rethinking your mind, renewing your body, reconnecting your soul—which of them plays the most pivotal role in your depression? They all contribute to your overall holistic well-being, which is your freedom from depression. They all work miracles in your life so that you can live your life as if everything is a miracle.

Your body, mind, and soul work together as a system of life energy. The free flow or stagnation of this life-giving energy is dependent on the “state of being” of your body, mind, and soul at each moment. It is this moment-to-moment alignment in your body, mind, and soul, as well as their alignment with one another, that creates your unique state of being, which is a miracle in itself.

What is your current state of being? Do you feel depressed?

If you are living your life as if nothing is a miracle, most probably your body, mind, and soul are in misalignment with one another. You might feel your life has little or no meaning, without a goal or purpose, strangled with sadness, and doomed to despair whenever you are confronted with life challenges and obstacles that are as inevitable as death. On the other hand, if your current state of being is one of joy, hope, and purpose, you are living as if everything is a miracle because your body, mind, and soul are not only interconnected, but also in perfect alignment and harmony with one another.

Alignment or realignment is interconnection of the body, mind, and soul to achieve ultimately the becoming and being of the self.

Your body alignment

Your body is the composition of your mind and soul in your physical world. It perceives and validates all your life perceptions and experiences.

Align your body to work miracles to renew and rejuvenate your toxic body through regular detoxification, a healthful diet and lifestyle, good natural sleep, a stress-free living environment, and a daily exercise routine, aided by life-giving breaths and body-transforming posture.

Your mind alignment

Your mind is the interactive messenger between your body and soul. It is the interpreter and overseer of your physical being.

Align your mind to work miracles to interpret correctly and express clearly your emotions and experiences in the language for your soul, as well as to register accurately all the nerve impulses generated by your body in your physical world.

Your soul alignment

Your soul is the source of life force in the form of invisible energy to your body and mind to give them direction in your physical world.
Align your soul to provide guidance for your body in terms of behaviors, and actions in the physical form, as well as to inspire your mind in the form of choices and decisions that lead to appropriate actions and reactions in your physical world.

The miracle of desire and decision

Alignment or realignment does not and will not occur by itself unless you so desire to align, realign or to change any misalignment. You have to change in order to live your life as if everything is a miracle. Don’t shrink back from the challenge of change. Don’t expect others around you to change in order to let you get what you want in your life. If your body, mind, and soul are in total alignment with one another, everything in your life will naturally fall into its right place; you will see all possibilities of reaching your dreams, and you will see no void between what you have and what you want. If your desire for alignment is greater than your desire for anything else, you will surely find the way to motivate your body, mind, and soul to seek their alignment with one another. Once you have the desire for the body-mind-soul alignment within yourself, you will then seek alignment and connection with others as well. Believe in the miracle of desire and decision.

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

Make your decision to desire alignment or realignment and connection with others, and then act accordingly. Remember, any indecision is sometimes worse than a wrong decision. As a matter of fact, if you let your soul guide you along the way, your decision can never be a wrong one.

Connection and Disconnection

According to entropy, one of the laws of physics, anything left to itself will ultimately disintegrate, and fall apart.

According to John Donne, the famous English poet, no man is an island, and every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. Essentially, everything in the universe is somehow and somewhat connected, just as man is connected with one another in a subtle way. The miracle of this connectedness is to provide balance and harmony to guarantee their existence and co-existence, which is their alignment.

To illustrate the relevance of alignment, for thousands of years, the Chinese have observed the importance of balance and harmony manifested in the “yin” and the “yang,” which literally means the bright and the dark side of a hill, respectively, or the contemporary version of the “male” and the “female.” Essentially, all things are both the “yin” and the “yang” simultaneously, despite their polar opposites; they are what they are by relativity to the other. In other words, they are interdependent on each other for balance and harmony for their existence and co-existence. In Chinese health and healing, the concept of the “yin” and the “yang” is further governed by the “Five Elements” (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water), with each representing a major body organ, and each indicating a process of action and interaction, in which one thing acts and interacts upon another, thereby balancing and complementing each other—just as the “yin” and the “yang” do. To illustrate, wood feeds the fire; without wood, there will be no fire. Fire creates earth, which is the ash from burning wood; without fire, there will be no earth. Metal comes from earth; without earth, there will be no metal. When metal is heated by fire, water through condensation is formed; without metal, there will be no water. In the natural cycle of things, without water, there will be no wood; without wood, there will be no fire; without fire, there will be no metal; without metal, there will be no water. This ancient Chinese healing philosophy attests to the importance of alignment, connection, and interconnection for the existence and co-existence of anything and everything in the universe.

In life, having no connection may be as bad as, if not worse than, having a wrong connection. Believe in the miracle that all happenings in your life are somehow connected for an unfathomable and unimaginable purpose, and that you can turn any bad situation into an opportunity for self-learning, self-improvement, and self-enlightenment. Believe in the miracle that you are connected with everyone you meet in your life, and that everyone can be either your teacher or your student. In other words, there is much to learn from any circumstance, as well as from one another. This is the miracle of alignment and connection.

On the other hand, disconnection with others may make you indulge in your self-ego. Don’t let yourself unwittingly become the proverbial frog being cooked in the pot without even knowing that the self-destructive heat has been turned up slowly and unnoticeably. Therefore, adequate connection with others is critical to the wellness of your being, but you must be aware of it; and act on it accordingly.

Becoming and Being

Alignment and realignment of your body, mind, and soul will bring about your becoming, which is more important than your doing. That is to say, the ultimate goal in believing that everything in life is a miracle is to discover your destiny, not in what you will do, but in what you will become. With a re-energized body, a re-kindled mind, and a revived soul, you are now willing to become the person God wants you to be in order to discover what God wants you to do. Your becoming is your being.

Understanding this wisdom of alignment of the body, mind, and soul, as well as the importance of becoming and being, will set you free from depression.
